a little memory...today, as I sat in a particularly uninspiring hostal kitchen eating my breakie, I remembered a beautiful little cafe in Argentina that we found completely by accident...it was in a tiny, tiny town on Peninsular Valdes and we had just popped in after an incredible morning of whale watching. I cannot remember what it was called but the retro style, cool music, friendly staff and lovely fresh food was just perfect! exactly how I would create a cafe if I could...great mags, comfy chairs and little treats (hand made by the owner I think) you could purchase...here are some photos...arghhhh happy memory...

Its funny how time can pass so fast, in the blink of an eye...and then other times you feel like you are moving at a snails pace. We are still living the life of a hobo...going from place to place, learning something new about the places we go and about ourselves! Little things seem to make big differences when you live out of a bag...such as peanut butter! Now I know I have an addiction to the gooey, crunchy, peanuty stuff...but until I found a supermarket that sold it (in all places it was Guatemala!)I didnt realise the extent of my addiction - I was so happy I had a big cheesy grin for hours! 
Well, aside from the hobo-talk...I have seen so many beautiful, amazing, inspiring sights recently and forgotten to share them...Pouch really has got a bad case of inspiration overload...take a peek...see what feasts my eyes have seen...

hello from sunny Buzios in Brazil! Pouch is going all over Brazil in search of inspiration...I have been to some beautiful places already and thought I might share some photos of the sights....

So...I have a little news...Pouch will be taking a small break, actually its not so small! Myself and my man are going on an adventure to South and Central America for between 6 and 12 months and we leave this Friday!
This unfortunately means there will not be any new pieces added to the Pouch collection for a while, but I will be seeking out all kinds of inspiration, materials (all those beautiful woven fabrics!!), taking thousands of photos, writing a diary and generally collecting bits and bobs to create some exciting new things on my return.
I will be continuing to update the Pouch blog...a little photo, a little story here and there...just to give you a taste of what I am up to in those far and distant lands!
I have been working hard to create a nice selection of stock for my Etsy store, which will continue to run (thanks to my dear friend Amelia!)


So please do keep checking up on my adventure as I will certainly be sharing some exotic, silly, crazy, scary, beautiful stories with you all.

no, you have not gone to the wrong blog!I just decided to update POUCH a little...it felt like it needed a spring clean...a little jazz up..I hope you like it? 
It seems in-keeping with my obsession with old bits of wood (just ask my poor boyfriend about all the crazy bits of wood I make him carry back from holidays/beaches/junk shops!!!!)
