Pouch website is LIVE

Hello loyal Pouch friends,

I have exciting news... for a long time now I have been working away on making Pouch a business and really giving it my all. I have thrown caution to the wind and set up Pouch as a business and launched a brand new website. You can find some new and exciting Pouch products that are (of course!) all handmade and unique. All collages are available framed or unframed and in 3 sizes. I will continue with the custom orders, so please feel free to contact me if you want to ask about a special piece.

Sadly, as Pouch has a brand new website, that means a new blog too.

I am a little sad to leave this blog but excited about the new future for Pouch.

2012.....an exciting year for Pouch

Pouch has some exciting times ahead...
2012 will see Pouch taking over the world - well nearly!


There will be a brand, spanking new website with a lovely on-line store that you can purchase framed and unframed Pouch artworks.


Pouch will become Pouch Handmade...just to make it clear that everyone understands the fact that ALL Pouch products are made by hand, by me!


There will be exciting new designs, quirky little creatures that need homes and hopefully some exciting new stockists of Pouch....


So stay tuned and I apologise for the lack of posts recently...but all will be relieved very soon...

Due to a lack of stock (thanks to lots of time spent overseas!) I have temporarily closed my Etsy and Madeit stores.

home sweet home...well sort of! Pouch has landed back in Sydney after 11 months on the road and living out of a bag. Hope to get making very soon with some of the lovely bits and bobs I have collected....stay tuned....

The sights, smells, sounds and creatures that I can see from my window here in Costa Rica....

We realised yesterday that we have been to 11 countries in the last 9 months...wow! Pouch has been in the back of my mind a lot and sometimes at the front of my mind too. 
Everyday I see something to inspire me...
Here are, yet more photos from our travels...Chile, Guatemala and El Salvador...

Living out of a bag and wearing the same clothes for 9 months has not bothered me...UNTIL....I saw this dress on Style Milk...arghhh I want it! 

 

Sunshine and smiles...some days thats all we need...
Pouch has been lapping up both of these things for over 9 months now and feels very lucky...
Right now, monkey spotting, iguana dodging, yoga, fresh food and cold showers are the main priorities here in Costa Rica...but the mind has turned to 'home' too...the return to reality...eeek!
June 29th is hometime...landing back in Sydney with a bang....
For now...here are some more of the many sights I have seen recently....

a little memory...today, as I sat in a particularly uninspiring hostal kitchen eating my breakie, I remembered a beautiful little cafe in Argentina that we found completely by accident...it was in a tiny, tiny town on Peninsular Valdes and we had just popped in after an incredible morning of whale watching. I cannot remember what it was called but the retro style, cool music, friendly staff and lovely fresh food was just perfect! exactly how I would create a cafe if I could...great mags, comfy chairs and little treats (hand made by the owner I think) you could purchase...here are some photos...arghhhh happy memory...

Its funny how time can pass so fast, in the blink of an eye...and then other times you feel like you are moving at a snails pace. We are still living the life of a hobo...going from place to place, learning something new about the places we go and about ourselves! Little things seem to make big differences when you live out of a bag...such as peanut butter! Now I know I have an addiction to the gooey, crunchy, peanuty stuff...but until I found a supermarket that sold it (in all places it was Guatemala!)I didnt realise the extent of my addiction - I was so happy I had a big cheesy grin for hours! 
Well, aside from the hobo-talk...I have seen so many beautiful, amazing, inspiring sights recently and forgotten to share them...Pouch really has got a bad case of inspiration overload...take a peek...see what feasts my eyes have seen...

ohhh its been sooooo long...but I have not forgotten about Pouch...I am still zipping from place to place in South America...currently in beautiful Buenos Aires..soaking up the Argentinian lifestyle...so much beauty all around me!
